**Description**
The Import Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for various aspects of International Transportation from origin booking through final delivery. This includes but is not limited to assisting any coordination requests from our Shanghai Operations Team, obtaining freight quotes to assist our pricing team, order tracking, and maintaining updated branch routing information and requirements.
**_Responsibilities:_**
+ Issue resolution with customers, including tracking containers, working with our customs broker to assure containers are being dispatched to truckers and that delivery appointments are being met in a timely fashion
+ Issue resolution with truckers in obtaining chassis to pull containers and working with ocean carrier for credit if/when applicable for non chassis usage or private chassis usage.
+ Analyze carrier data feeds (ocean and dray) as it relates to their required milestones for the container movements. Work directly with our online portal provider to correct or identify for resolution errored details found within this portal
+ Assist in capturing actual transit times by origin by final location to provide updated transportation lead-times to our customers.
+ Assist in monitoring and pushing carriers for rail connections
+ Assist in documenting by carrier demurrage time by rail yard and or port of arrivals
+ Work with customers to resolve per diem, storage, demurrage, and detention issues to ensure billing accuracy

+ Work with our current line up of dray carriers and assist to find alternate carriers to take the load when the load is rejected
+ Work with our branches for routing requirements or issues, create and maintain branch specific routing guides
+ Assist in auditing and preapprovals for all freight invoices
+ Assist with Freight Claim process from Customers
+ Assist with Freight quotes from Pricing Analyst
**_Requirements:_**
+ Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business or a related field preferred
+ 3+ years related international transportation experience is preferred
+ Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Possess exceptional customer service, issue resolution and extensive analytical skills
+ Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment as a self starter
+ Must be detail oriented and able to undertake projects with minimal supervision
+ Previous experience with the AS400 system preferred
+ Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook required
