Our primary care locations across Southeastern Wisconsin are looking for MA/LPN candidates to create a brand new team supporting InDirect work. This role can be based at any of our ambulatory health centers and will consist of remotely supporting all health center's EPIC in-baskets. This work will include, but not limited to, MyChart messages, Refill requests, and Patient Calls. Discover. Achieve. Succeed. #BeHere Location: US:WI:MENOMONEE FALLS at our CP-GERMANTOWN HEALTH CENTER facility. This job is ON - SITE. FTE: 1.000000 Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm Shift: Shift 1 Summary: A Medical Assistant/LPN is a healthcare professional and an essential member of the patient-centered healthcare team. This individual is responsible for pre-visit planning, standard rooming responsibilities, assisting with procedures, discharge instructions and other duties as assigned. The Medical Assistant/LPN is instrumental in helping the patient feel at ease while collaborating with the provider throughout the patient's visit. The Medical Assistant/LPN may be required to cross train and float as needed to maintain optimal clinic operations. Other duties as assigned. Medical Assistant Qualifications: One to two years of clinical experience is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire. In addition, individuals must meet one (1) of the following combinations of education and experience A. A graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant Program (Associate, Diploma or Certificate). - Additional certification through the AAMA and/or an equal certification board or certification is preferred. B. A graduate of a non CAAHEP or ABHES Medical Assistant program (Associate, diploma, or Certificate) or Military Medic/Corpsman training. In addition to education, one (1) year of formal on the job Medical Assistant experience preferred. C. Currently possess and are in good standing with at least one of the following credentials a. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - AAMA b. Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) - AMT c. Assessment -Based Recognition in Order Entry (ABR-OE) d. Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) -NHA LPN Qualifications: One to two years of related clinical experience is preferred. Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing is required. Current LPN licensure by the state of Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
