The In-home Caregiver will be responsible for providing direct care and support to individuals in their homes. This includes assisting with activities of daily living, medication management, and providing companionship. - Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration
- Help with household chores such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings
- Engage in conversation and provide companionship
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Prior experience in caregiving or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and assist clients

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help clients take prescribed medication
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
- Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
- Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own, including preparing meals
- Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members
- Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required
- Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
- Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
- Physical endurance to complete required tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent
