GPS is looking for reliable and compassionate individuals to join our team as in-home caregivers. GPS is a leading provider of in-home care services for seniors and adults who need assistance with daily living activities.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license
Reliable transportation
Able to pass a criminal background check
High moral standards of honesty and integrity
Primary responsibilities:
Personal Care: Help residents with bathing, using the toilet, dressing, grooming, feeding, and nail and oral care.
Meal Assistance: Set up meals, help residents eat, and bring meals to those who are confined to their rooms.
Health Monitoring: Keep track of and record residents' food and drink intake and other health information.
Mobility Assistance: Help residents move in and out of beds and chairs.
Housekeeping: Make beds, handle linens, and keep work and resident areas clean and tidy.
Snacks and Nourishment: Provide and encourage residents to eat snacks and nourishment according to the schedule.
Personal Belongings: Help residents unpack and store their personal items.
Record Keeping: Use of the EVV digital app to complete necessary documentation during each shift
Training: Attend training sessions and continue your education to improve your skills.
Respectful Care: Treat residents, co-workers, and the public with respect and kindness.
Reliability: Be dependable and on time, meeting your scheduled work hours.
Other Duties: Perform other tasks related to resident care as assigned by your supervisor.
