Description of the role:The In Home Caregiver-Spearfish position at Village Caregiving involves providing compassionate and dedicated care to individuals in their own homes. As an in-home caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others by assisting with daily activities and personal care tasks. This role requires a nurturing and patient demeanor, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with meal planning and preparation
- Administer medication, as directed
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks
- Accompany clients to appointments and social outings
Requirements:
- Prior experience as an in-home caregiver or similar role, but not required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Positive and compassionate attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
