Job Description:
Right at Home is urgently seeking a compassionate and reliable In-Home Caregiver to provide essential care and support to clients in the Gothenburg, NE area. As an In-Home Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations to support clients' emotional well-being.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
- Assist with mobility, including transferring and positioning clients safely.
- Support clients with medication reminders and basic health monitoring.
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities.
- Communicate regularly with the care team and family members to report on the client's progress and any changes in condition.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor with a genuine passion for helping others.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans accurately.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
