Our focus is to promote healthy lifestyles, protect and nurture vulnerable children and youth and empower them to have a voice in their communities.Job Type: Full TimeDepartment: In-Home ServicesLocation: Chester County, PAJOB SUMMARY:The Case Aide plays a pivotal role in the Bilingual In-Home Unit, providing essential support in transporting clients to medical or mental health appointments and supervising visitations in placement settings. Additionally, the role involves assisting with support services, delivering brief parenting education and essential life skills, and conducting interviews to determine the need for social services. The Case Aide contributes to the overall success of the unit by ensuring effective client interactions, verifying information, and actively participating in unit meetings and case-related discussions.Essential Duties, Tasks, and Accountabilities:Transport clients to medical or mental health appointments and/or placement resources.Supervise visitation of children in placement settings outside of their own homes and their birth families, and document the interactions.Assist in providing support services.Offer brief parenting education, money management skills, and nutritional education to help families create a safe and appropriate setting for their children.Conduct interviews to obtain and verify information necessary to determine the need for various social services.Verify information from clients regarding their cooperation with provided services and referrals to other community resources.Complete case notes detailing all client and collateral contacts.Participate in unit meetings conducted on a bi-monthly basis and all case-related meetings.Perform other duties, tasks and special projects, as required.Complete 40 hours of annual training.Perform other duties as assigned to support Pradera's mission.BENEFITS:Health Insurance through Independence Administrators or $100/month reimbursement with proof of current insurance.Vision and Dental Plans through SunLife.Basic Life Insurance (100% Employer Funded).403B Retirement Plan with Company Contribution.Flexible Spending Accounts for Health, Childcare, and Public Transportation expenses.Employee Assistance Program including free counseling, trainings, webinars, and other resources.Could be eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program as APM is a non-profit.Voluntary Plans include Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity.Short-term and Long-term Disabilities.Employee Referral Program.20 Days of Paid Time Off include Illness, Vacation, Appointments, and Emergencies.12 Days of Paid Holidays.Qualifications and Requirements:High School Diploma.Bachelor's degree in another field with 12 credits in Social Sciences AND two years of experience in Human Services.Fluent in both Spanish and English with exceptional proficiency in written, oral, and reading skills.Pass Pennsylvania Child Abuse clearance, Criminal History Check, and FBI Fingerprint background check.Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License and clear Driver Record.Pass Medical exam including TB exam and be free from communicable diseases.Preferred Skills, Knowledge & Experience:Knowledge of child welfare and/or child protective services law/Juvenile Act.Experience and knowledge in child development.Background and knowledge in social work and psychology.Knowledge of office policy and procedures.APM is an equal opportunity employer.
