In-House Production/Broadcast InternOverall Job Description: Internship helps with multiple aspects of the production department. A large part of this role is to help with the game presentation, which includes preparation of all LED displays in Parkview Field for TinCaps games and some non-gameday events. Another large part is to play a key role in the live production of our game broadcast streams. The video production department is also included in the TinCaps marketing department. We participate in the brainstorming and communication of all promotions throughout the organization. There may be opportunities to create videos for games and external team pages (theme nights, hype, etc.), but this is not considered a primary content creation position.Duties and Responsibilities:• Update Photoshop templates designed for promo content, video board use and broadcast info• Work on production crew for live game broadcasts (director, producer, camera, graphics, replay)• Learn how to prepare and operate video boards for games• Film community appearances by players and/or the mascot• Occasionally fill-in as mascot or mascot handler for appearances• Help with setup & teardown of video/photo shoots with players and staff• Maintenance of production equipment & help problem solve equipment issues• Brainstorm ideas for marketing and promotions• Help with any all-staff tasks outside of the video department when neededSkills and Abilities Required:• Video Editing: Adobe Premiere• Graphic Design: Adobe Photoshop• Video effects and animations: Adobe After Effects• Experience and basic knowledge of videography and Studio Equipment (Lights, Mics, Blue Screen)• Preferred experience with live broadcasting• Preferred experience with filming sports• Ability to handle a variety of projects, ability to multi-task and ability to meet deadlines• Proficiency in working with a team as well as ability to work independently• Willingness to work extra-long hours (some weeks could be 80+ hours)• General knowledge of baseballSchedule, Pay and other notes:• Seasonal Position (February or March through September)• 9am-5pm Monday-Friday (including non-gamedays) and all 66 home gameso Evening and weekends for occasional eventso Some holidays will be a required day of work• Monthly salary of $1,400 (paid bi-weekly)• Housing not offeredPlease E-mail Résumé and Demo Reel/Work Examples to:Melissa Harring - Director of Video Production E-mail: ...@tincaps.comWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.Job Questions:
