These awards are a testament to our dedication to excellence, the Scheduling Coordinator will be at the heart of maintaining that standard.The perfect candidate would have experience with scheduling, the ability to think quickly on your feet, and be able to work well in a fast-paced, customer/caregiver-focused setting.Responsibilities:
- Caregiver and Client Matching: Work closely with caregivers and clients to ensure the best possible fit for both, adjusting schedules as needed to meet the unique needs of each person.
- Scheduling & Time Management: Oversee the scheduling process, monitor shifts, and ensure that caregiver hours are accurately recorded and processed.
- Problem Solving: Quickly resolve scheduling conflicts or staffing issues by thinking outside of the box and finding creative solutions.
- Support & Supervision: Assist with the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new caregivers. Provide supervision and guidance as needed to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- On-Call Rotation: Be available for on-call duties outside of regular office hours (8a-4:30p, M-F) as part of a rotating schedule (on-call: M-F 4:30p - 8a and weekends).
- Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with other staff members, fostering a supportive and open environment where constructive criticism is welcomed, and help is never out of reach.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with at least two years of relevant business or healthcare experience.
- Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure, with a strong capacity for quick thinking and problem solving.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a diverse team.
- A positive, can-do attitude, even when facing challenges or receiving feedback.
- Previous experience in the home care industry or a medical office setting is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to take responsibility and ask for help when needed, teamwork makes the dream work!
