Job Description:

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking an In Process Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. As an In Process Quality Assurance Technician, you will be part of the Quality Management System team supporting the Module Division. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, be organized, and have experience in quality or manufacturing.

Job Title: In Process Quality Assurance Technician

Location: Jacksonville, FL Westside

Pay Range: $19 per hour

What's the Job?

  • Responsible for the company's quality management system documents, technical documents and other related documents to collect, collate, unified management, cataloging, statistics and borrowing, shelf life and monitoring.
  • Responsible for numbering controlled document, distribution, recovery and obsolete, regularly destroyed.
  • Regular inspection and evaluation documents (whether the usage & suitability fit the regulations, etc.).
  • Assist Module Division in measuring instruments, prepare regular inspection report.
  • Assist other matters assigned by superiors.
  • Daily Audits of production floor raising awareness to management of any quality issues.
  • Heavy use of excel and Microsoft office products must have previous excel experience.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED minimum
  • Previous experience in quality, manufacturing or other related fields
  • Familiarity with manufacturing machinery and equipment
  • Requires solid work ethic; good attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to lift a maximum of 25 pounds and stand for a twelve-hour work shift
  • Ability to handle daily physical workload, lift and move parts and work with machinery
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Experienced in production safety, occupational health, environmental protection, report writing
  • 6+ months' relevant work experience in Manufacturing, Quality, etc.
  • Ability to work a rotating schedule, each of 12 hours, regardless of holidays and weekends.
  • Ability to learn how to read schematics and technical drawings
  • Good visual acuity, manual dexterity
