The In Room Dining Manager will ensure that the operations run smoothly and efficiently in In-Room Dining. In this role, the In Room Dining Manager will be responsible for our guests to have an enjoyable dining experience andthat maximum profitability is achieved. The In Room Dining Manager will lead all aspects of the business while transforming the current in-room dining offerings to be more desirable and marketable.Key Accountabilities:
- Oversee the Food & Beverage operation in In-Room Dining with an oversight in administration wise as well as operationally. Furthermore, ensuring consistency through offerings, personalized service, facility maintenance and Peninsula expectations.
- Play an active role in the department having heavy interaction with guests and providing guidance and support for staff leading by example.
- Work closely with the Guest Relations team on the guest amenity program.
- Build database with guest preferences/details from personal and team interactivity on the floor.
- Work closely with Culinary and F&B Management to develop ideas, continue to evolve, increase revenue, and profit margins.
- Handle all guest feedback and resolve any concerns before guests depart the hotel and or restaurant.
- Ensure that liquor is served responsibly, and that laws and regulations are followed.
- Ensure that all areas in In-Dining department are well maintained, clean, neat, and up to par always.General Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a luxury restaurant or hotel working in a management capacity in the food and beverage division, budget planning and management, forecasting, and revenue management.
- Ability to communicate well with all levels of management, staff, and guests. Union Experience a plus.
- Self-starter; creative; independent, but team-oriented; presentation, and problem-solving skills; analytical; socially adept; detailed-oriented and organized; goals and results-oriented; articulate.
