Job Description

As our In-Room Dining Team Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing our in-room dining service, while maximizing profitability and meeting customer's needs. You will report to the Director of Restaurants and Bars.

You will be responsible for:

  • Taking accountability and effectively managing the In Room Dining in conjunction with the Restaurant Leader.
  • Being knowledgeable of and operating within appropriate outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies.
  • Maintaining currency of RSA certification, amendments and updates and adhere to RSA principles.
  • Assisting in reaching financial goals for the Food and Beverage department.
  • Creating a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service and ensuring all staff engage guests to understand their needs and exceed expectations.
  • Preparing weekly rosters and consistently monitoring labour costs to remain within financial budget.
  • Implementing new company policies and procedures by developing plans and instructing staff.
  • Identifying and delegating responsibilities to Team Leaders and staff to ensure objectives are met and excellent service is consistently achieved.
  • Providing direction to shift leaders, and staff to achieve restaurant goals.
  • Ensuring that the Restaurant and In Room Dining areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Consistently reviewing operations and staff to identify any problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Providing coaching and feedback to managers and staff and assessing performance on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintaining a good working relationship with the kitchen team and other departments.
