DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist administration in the supervision of students who have been removed from the classroom for violations of the Student Code of Conduct.Help maintain a neat and orderly classroomHelp keep administrative records and prepare required reports.Collect student instructional materials and route to the appropriate staff member.Communicate with parents when appropriate.Regular attendance.Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE:
- Some experience working with children
QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certification:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Texas educational aide certificate (must obtain within 30 days of employment)
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Ability to work well with children
- Ability to communicate effectively
