Job Description:

DescriptionPay $23.00 - $26.00 an hour.The Incident Investigator is responsible for supporting incident management practices across the organization. The specialist ensures compliance with policies, procedures and regulation for OPWDD, OMH, SED, DOH, OCFS, OASAS, VESID and any other service programs.Core ResponsibilitiesInitiate and complete investigative activities within the department.Respond to incoming concerns/incidents from program and advise.Ensure investigation reports are thorough, objective and contain appropriate content.Maintain investigation databases (Internal, IRMA and NIMRS).Elicit and identify incident management training needs throughout the agency.Present components of orientation as needed.Attend mandatory training and maintain investigator certifications.Analyze, research, and make recommendations concerning internal audits/reviews related to incident management and CAPS (corrective action plans).Ensure compliance with all pertinent government and agency regulations and operating standards.Participate in other incident management related activities as needed.This position includes on-call responsibilities.QualificationsBachelor's degree required.At least 2 years' experience in a human service field.Travel is required.
