What can you expect:You will collaborate with the other teams in our people function to deliver integrated core people services and programs that enable inclusion and diversity across the firm. As a trusted advisor to the business, you will provide guidance on workforce diversity best practices, programs and processes to attract, retain and promote a diverse workforce and to promote the use of diversity in support of business and enterprise goals. In this critical role you will provide strategy, design, and subject matter expertise to the organization in DEI and implement programs and processes that are impactful, simple and user-focused in a fast-moving environmentAs a seasoned professional in the DEI space, you will have demonstrated experience managing projects and initiatives to solve complex challenges. And you will play a critical role as we seek to drive greater consistency and collaboration and adopt a One Marsh McLennan approach across our inclusion and diversity practices. What's in it for you:Support the design, execution and evaluation of critical DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) efforts for targeted populations, helping to ensure solutions are engaging, user-focused and meet colleague and business expectations.Contribute to the People Function efforts in creating opportunity and growing together by strengthening inclusion across global Marsh McLennan colleagues.What can you expect:Act as a trusted advisor to CPOs, People Partners and business leadership offering DEI related insightChampion a culture of change to embrace inclusivity and implement through best practices, programs and processes to attract, retain and promote a diverse workforceSupport the translation of business requirements into solution design requests; work with CPO, Talent Partner and Executives to set DEI priorities for the business that ladder up to Marsh McLennan Inclusion & Diversity strategyLiaise with relevant People Function COE s to advise on business unit-specific requirements and adaptations required for any programmingPartner with Talent Development to help close the diversity gaps in the talent pipeline and make recommendations to learning content / process adjustments to enable a more diverse workforceCollaborate with Talent Partners and People Partners to help drive DEI as central to the Talent Development agendaDrive accountability for DEI across people function and provide guidance and support to help enable and upskillUnderstand and track DEI efforts across the globe with a business specific lens; monitor business progress through data and leverage insight to shape efforts for impactProvide support in responding to commercial business DEI needs client requests, RFP responses and support information requests for local regulatory needsAim to enable cross business and function connections within region and to create visibility into local effortsMay represent Marsh McLennan within and outside the firm by attending and participating in external diversity conferences and organizationsWhat you'll need to have:Technical Expertise: Moderate to deep subject matter expertise in at least 2 key areas of I&D (e.g. racial equity, gender, LGBTQ, inter-generational working, disability, neuro-diversity, social mobility, etc,) with a growing knowledge of HR technology / support tools. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
