Join our dedicated staff of more than 500 and make a difference in someone's life!We are recruiting for an Individual Support Worker (ISW) in our Adult Community Support Services Program in Edison, Woodbridge, and Monmouth Junction, NJ. Qualified candidates will identify various available services and develop support systems to meet client needs. This position requires significant travel. Job Responsibilities of an ISW:
- Accompanies clients to doctor's appointments
- Assists with meal preparation
- Assists with running errands
- Assists with activities of daily living (may be required)
Job Requirements:
- A valid driver's license must be insurable under NJID's automobile insurance.
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual, developmental, and related disabilities
- Strong communication skills
NO certification required Position Details:Location: Edison, Woodbridge & Monmouth Junction County: MiddlesexHours Per Work Week: 30 Weekly Work Schedule: Tues.-Fri. 2 pm-8 pm & Sat. 10 am-4 pm Other shifts are available at this location.
