Title: Industrial Administrative Assistant

Location: Angleton, TX

Salary: $55,000+

Schedule: 9/80 schedule available

Focus: The Industrial Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Research and Development (R&D) team at Olin's Angleton, TX site as well as supporting a variety of technical responsibilities.

Industrial Administrative Assistant Essential Job Functions:

* Provide administrative support for Angleton site including traditional office management, procurement, purchase order management, meeting support, and timekeeping.

* Act as the subject matter expert for Management of Change, Action Management, and Sample Management tools. Provide training, coaching, and support as needed. Interface with IT for tracking and improvements.

* Manage Epoxy R&D documents in multiple systems for controlled documents, lab work instructions, and research reports.

* Manage R&D training through multiple tools. Assure roles are aligned, and training requirements are met.

* Quality Focal Point - ownership and maintenance of quality policies, implementation of annual management system review, leadership in preparation and support for quality audits.

* Environmental/Waste Focal point - assist team with lab waste management, including waste stream characterization, and managing waste inventory.

* Track financial contributions for the R&D team, including global spend, North America productivity projects, and global innovation value delivery.

Industrial Administrative Assistant Minimum Requirements:

* Associate's Degree*; Business Administration or related discipline preferred.

* Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience.

* Demonstrated ability to drive projects as well as to learn complex tools and processes.

* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Prior experience with SAP preferred.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills, multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills.

* Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred.
