Description Base pay $18.00 - Make up to $22.00 hr.
- Unloads and breaks down freight (eg. trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc)
- Sorts and organizes freight
- Operate various types of material handling equipment
- Sort, repack, and label freight
- Basic ability to read, count and use RF/Scanner technology (training provided)
- Remove items from sorting bins, scan and place onto conveyer belt
- Remove items from packing bins, scan items using RF/Scanner for accuracy, produce packing list and bag items
- Operate warehouse machinery in accordance with customer standard operating procedures. (eg. bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.)
- Maintains work area in a clean and hazard free condition
Minimum Requirements
- 1 years of warehouse experience preferred (willing to train)
- Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment - continuously lifting and moving up to 50lbs
- Warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred (ie pallet jack)
- Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards
- Excellent customer service required
- Overtime/Weekends will be required during peak/seasonal volumes
- Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler/freezers)
- Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
- Standing/climbing 8 to 10 hours per day
- Effective communication skills
- Safety shoes are required
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Must be eligible to work in the US - We participate in EVerify
