We are looking for:The Industrial Automation Specialist supports site PLC and HMI install base to ensure operability, integrity and functionality of PLC controlled equipment at the Augusta site
We count on you for: - Participate in and incorporate site safety culture into work life
- Manage and develop PLC install base to include troubleshooting existing code and development of new control strategies to meet internal customer requirements
- Manage and develop HMI software applications based on Wonderware and / or PanelView platforms
- Troubleshoot communications protocols to include Ethernet TCP/IP, ASI-NET, ProfiBus DP, Ethernet / IP, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP
- Identify hardware / software interface problems through knowledge of above systems
- OPC interfacing to a variety of vendor controllers for data acquisition
- Work in team environment to draw on and build up Industrial Automation knowledge base
- Interface with internal customers to ensure project qualifications and expectations are met
- Provide training to users of newly modified or installed systems
- Identify and define project and application requirements and issues through client interactions
- Research and evaluate the functionality of vendor software to meet user needs, assess vendor proposals, and serve as a technical / vendor liaison when applicable
- Exercise due diligence in performing / maintaining necessary disaster recovery backups
- Utilize knowledge and problem solving skills to return failed components / equipment to a running state in a timely, efficient and safe manner.
- Define and establish an effective testing environment and plan for function testing when applicable

You will bring: - Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Computer Science or Equivalent; or 4 - 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
- Familiarity with Windows Domain environments
- Working knowledge of Ethernet device network connectivity and integration
- Working knowledge of Rockwell PLCs to include SLC500, CompactLogix, MicroLogix, ControlLogix and applicable configuration software
- Working knowledge of Allen Bradley PanelView HMIs for configuration and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of Wonderware HMI for configuration and troubleshooting
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot ASI-NET, Profibus DP, and Ethernet IP communications
- Configure and support installed Allen Bradley STRATIX switches
- Ability to manage personal workload and prioritize work
- Familiarity with AVEVA PI system interface and server is desired but not required for this role
- Familiarity with DeltaV DCS systems is desired but not required for this role

- The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $90,000 to $120,840 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
