Industrial Control Technician: Keep Our Systems Running Smoothly! Ready to play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing cutting-edge production equipment? As an Industrial Control Technician, you'll be the go-to expert for ensuring our electronic control systems are operating at peak performance. You'll also get to spearhead continuous improvement and safety projects that make a real difference in our operations. What You'll Do: -Technical Support & Training: Provide hands-on support to users and train them on best practices for maximizing equipment efficiency. -Innovator: Seek opportunities to improve and upgrade systems, making budget-friendly recommendations to your supervisor. -Documentation Pro: Keep all technical documents up-to-date, from work procedures to system drawings. -Inspector Extraordinaire: Conduct regular system checks to ensure everything is running smoothly. -Parts Expert: Collaborate with the Maintenance Purchaser to manage critical inventory. -Tech Trainer: Stay on the cutting edge of new technologies and bring that knowledge back to the team. -Master Troubleshooter: Provide expert support on VFD motor drive systems, PLCs, HMIs, and Industrial Communication Networks-keeping our equipment breakdowns to a minimum. -System Upgrader: Lead the charge in upgrading obsolete systems or parts. Who You'll Work With: -Plant Management & Associates: Regular contact with the production and maintenance teams to ensure everything stays on track. -Suppliers & Contractors: Occasionally work with external partners for new equipment or repairs. Pay: $28 - $32 per hour. Shift: 1st Shift, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Apply now! What You Bring: -Education & Experience: -5-7 years of experience in PLC programming with an Associate's -Degree in Electronics Technology, or equivalent certification with 7-10 years of hands-on experience. Skills: -Proficiency in Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs/controls/protocols. -Strong working knowledge of VFD motors, industrial drives, and controllers. -Ability to document issues, implement changes, and stay ahead of new technology trends. Key Qualifications: -Organized, deadline-oriented, and capable of juggling complex tasks. -Comfortable with computers, telephones, and various office equipment. -Flexibility to work different hours when needed. -Follow safety procedures and understand Job Safety Analysis (JSA) standards.Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
