We are seeking a dependable and experienced Crane Operator to manage and operate our industrial cranes used in our construction projects. As our crane operator, you are responsible for operating our 80- or 40-ton railway crane to lift and move heavy objects and materials throughout our facility. This role requires a combination of technical skills, physical stamina, and a strong understanding of load capacities.The ideal candidate will have proven experience in operating cranes safely and efficiently, with a strong focus on adhering to all safety regulations and standards while coordinating with ground staff via radio or hand signals to ensure safe handling of loads.At

REQUIRED SKILLS- Proven experience as a crane operator, demonstrating strong knowledge of crane operations and safety procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception to accurately position loads and maneuver the crane.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to identify and address any equipment malfunctions or issues.
- Ability to interpret and follow technical drawings, lifting plans, and signal communication to execute precise lifting operations.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with team members and follow instructions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Assess load weights and determine load capacities to ensure safe lifting operations, making necessary adjustments as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members, including signalpersons, riggers, and supervisors, to ensure coordinated and safe lifting operations.
- Safely and efficiently operate mobile cranes to lift, move, and position heavy objects, equipment, and materials according to project requirements.
- Monitor and maintain the proper function of crane controls, ensuring they are responsive and functioning correctly during operations.
- Keep accurate records of crane usage, maintenance, and inspections, reporting any issues or concerns to supervisors.
A minimum of three years' experience working as a crane operator, preferably in a construction or industrial setting. Valid crane operator certification from a recognized training organization and additional certifications such as rigging or signaling is preferred, not always required.
Work Hours - Monday-Friday (Mandatory OT on some Saturdays based on business needs)
