As a Industrial Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of electrical systems and machinery within our manufacturing facility.Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular inspections, testing, and maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, identify root causes, and implement appropriate repairs or replacements.
- Install, calibrate, and modify electrical systems and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines and industry standards.
- Collaborate with team members to develop preventive maintenance plans and schedules, and execute them effectively.
- Conduct electrical safety training sessions for staff members, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist with the installation and modification of electrical wiring, circuits, and other components as needed.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- A high school diploma or equivalent; combination of work-related training and experience.
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, machinery, and circuitry.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of NEC and ANSI codes.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with electrical safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Certification or degree in Electrical or Industrial Maintenance is preferred.
