Industrial Engineer -Continuous ImprovementThe selected candidate for this role will be responsible for process improvements and scheduling in FreshDirect's Operations*

Utilize data analytics and modeling techniques to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction within the function.*

Develop and implement scheduling algorithms and methodologies to optimize distribution schedules.*

Demonstrate strong continuous improvement knowledge and application of toolkit.*

Develop and ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)*

Support plant and transport project improvement initiatives.*

Lead and drive the change process.*

Work with partner and SME (subject matter experts) to identify and resolve any concerns related to the processes and systems.*

Be the operations representative for system change management.*

Flexible schedule and availability during critical times and peaks of the year including project roll out periods.*

Design and implement efficient solutions including but not limited to capacity, productivity, quality and service.*

Collect and analyze data to quantify and validate process improvements.*

Manage projects from start to finish, including cost justification, project planning, execution, training, and go-live support.Minimum Qualifications:*

Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field*

2+ years' experience in operations, logistics, warehousing or manufacturing*

2+ years' experience in data analysis and SQL*

Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and lead individuals who are not direct reports*

Comfortable juggling and coordinating multiple projects across several channels simultaneously*

Able to write for and work with a wide range of audiences, from executives to line workers*

Enjoy operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment under time constraints.Preferred Qualifications:*

Master's degree in industrial engineering or related field*

Experience working in a union environment*

Experience working with an automated system.*

Hands on experience with WMS and SAP#LI-LG1
