Job DescriptionLockheed Martin Pike County Operations in Troy, Alabama is seeking an Industrial Engineer responsible for:Conducting classical Industrial Engineering activities such as time and motion studies, facility and workstation design, and process improvement activitiesPerforming work measurements and time standards, productivity and performance management, capacity resource analysis, simulation modeling, cost analysis and estimating. Supporting one or more Performance Management Team (PMT) through metric analysis and process improvement identification/implementationDriving continuous improvement and capturing cost savings. This position requires a candidate that (1) is customer-focused, (2) has excellent oral and written communication skills, (3) has demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, (4) is able to work effectively with a team and all levels of management, (5) is a self-starter with demonstrated self-initiated goals and results.Relocation: Relocation assistance is possible for this exciting position. The Locale: Troy, Alabama is located in the East Gulf Coastal Plains region of southeastern Alabama. Troy's climate is typical of areas along the Gulf of Mexico in that it has hot, humid summers and mild winters. Troy is a great place to live offering lots of things to do and has a small-town charm. Troy is also a college town and is home to Troy University. Where can you get to from Troy? Our facility in Troy is just under an hour south of Montgomery, Alabama. Troy is about 2.5 hours north of the Gulf of Mexico and Fort Walton Beach and Florida's Pan Handle. Troy is about three hours from Atlanta, GA.Seeking a recent graduate with immediate availability.Basic QualificationsDegree at the Bachelor level or above in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, Engineering Management, or a similar disciplineUnderstanding of Industrial Engineering tools /techniquesMust be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance. Lockheed Martin will assist selected candidate with obtaining at least an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting.**Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ( ATF ) background check to obtain approval to be an employee possessor (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $50,300 - $96,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
