Job Summary The Process Engineer will play a critical role in optimizing the aluminum extrusion and fabrication process. The successful candidate will leverage Lean Principles, Six Sigma Methodologies, and Advanced Automation and Robotics to drive continuous improvement, enhance product quality, and increase operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities•Lean Manufacturing Implementation: Apply Lean Manufacturing Principles to eliminate waste, streamline processes, and improve operational efficiencies. •Continuous Improvement Leadership: Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma Methodologies or other quality-related techniques to identify and solve complex manufacturing problems. •Process Optimization: Conduct value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and process optimization to enhance productivity and reduce costs. •Automation and Robotics: Develop and implement automation and robotics solutions to enhance manufacturing processes in aluminum extrusion and fabrication. •Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, program, and deploy automated systems. •Technology Integration: Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve production efficiency and quality. •Workflow Improvement: Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and ergonomic assessments to improve workflow and reduce bottlenecks. •Documentation Development: Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process documentation. •Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing teams, maintenance staff, and production supervisors. •Employee Training: Train employees on Lean Principles, Six Sigma Methodologies, and the operation of automated systems and robotics. Qualifications •Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields. •Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in industrial manufacturing, preferably in the aluminum extrusion and fabrication industry preferred. •Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles and Six Sigma Methodologies. Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred. •Technical Skills: Experience with automation and robotics in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in using detail and simulation software. •Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Strong knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
