We are looking for a talented Industrial Engineer to join our growing team. An Industrial Engineer is responsible for ensuring the standardization of production and implementation of projects.

What you will be responsible for:

Method Engineering

  • Material flow planning in cooperation with the logistics planning department
  • Workplace design and Specification in cooperation with HQ / Ergonomics
  • Generating Value Stream Maps, flow diagrams, production layouts
  • Involvement in the development and introduction of new techniques
  • Involvement in designing customer articles in a manner that is suitable for production
  • Generation of and involvement in process FMEAs

Manufacturing Engineering in cooperation with the relevant technical departments

  • Determining the required secondary equipment
  • Generating specifications for secondary equipment, special machines
  • Construction monitoring, acceptance and production launch of the secondary equipment

Project work

  • Tasks as Sub-Project Manager
  • Due date and cost control
  • Project documentation
  • Planning and execution of ratio / optimization projects
  • Involvement in the design FMEA
  • Generating process sequences with the help of QA (test plans)
  • Support for Kaizen projects
  • Daily startup and series support
  • Execution of MTM analyses
  • Optimization of special processes and equipment
  • Optimization of value stream
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

What will you bring to the table (Skills/Experience Required):

  • Engineer / Technician: Plastics / machinery manufacturing / process technology
  • Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Engineering or related field
  • Project management
  • Secondary equipment planning / - procurement
  • Production and factory planning
  • PC knowledge (MS Office) / CAD (AutoCAD)
  • Value Stream Mapping
  • MTM or REFA proficiency:
  • Lean Manufacturing – Toyota Production System – Poka-Yoke
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Ergonomics
  • English / German and/or Spanish will be advantage
