Position Summary:

Provide the necessary Industrial Engineering skills and leadership to the Continuous Improvement and Operations Departments to achieve optimal levels of safety, quality, productivity, and delivery to assure internal and external customer satisfaction.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Intermediate to advanced level position where associate has reached competency in the discipline. Understands and applies concepts. Performs varied and more complex tasks, using independent judgment with minimum supervision. Makes decisions within broad parameters. May mentor less experienced associates.

  • · Support the Company's mission, vision, and values in performance of daily activities.
  • · Analyze workforce utilization and operational data, such as production costs and process flow charts to determine effective utilization of the workforce and equipment.
  • · Lead project teams in root cause analysis, team problem solving activities and Continuous Improvement activities (ex. Kaizen, value stream mapping, 5-S workplace organization, etc.)
  • · Guides verification and validation of manufacturing workflow systems.
  • · Conduct Method Analysis, Delay and Cycle Time studies to optimize plant throughput.

  • · Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
  • · Minimum three (3) years of related technical, hands-on experience
  • · Evidence of working knowledge of formal problem-solving techniques such as Kaizen, value stream mapping.
  • · Working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • · Microsoft Office
  • · Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • · Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
  • · Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
