Industrial Engineer – New Berlin, WI
Salary Target: $90,000

Position Overview
As an Industrial Engineer, you will act as a design authority for low to medium complexity engineering projects, contributing to the success of production startup and ramp-up initiatives. In this role, you will utilize your technical expertise to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure cost-effective project execution. This position reports to the Advanced Manufacturing Manager and will require occasional 2nd-shift availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for production startups, testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Develop and maintain essential manufacturing process documentation, including facility layouts, process flow charts, capacity/utilization studies, takt time assessments, time and motion studies, standard work procedures, cycle time analysis, and line balancing.
- Assist in preparing proposals and presentations for engineering projects.
- Use design verification checklists to ensure compliance with applicable standards and engineering guidelines.
- Apply basic design thinking and design-for-excellence concepts to improve processes and outcomes.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Preferred:
- Proficiency in manufacturing tools and methodologies, including Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, and Value Stream Mapping.
- Experience with software and tools such as SAP, ProPlanner, FlexSim, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of Plan for Every Part (PFEP), labor routings, and other production planning concepts.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to support cross-functional teams.
