Today, BCT proudly stands 260 employees strong and celebrates the completion of our cutting-edge foundry, a testament to our relentless pursuit of excellence and innovation._________________________________________________________________________General DescriptionUnder the direction of the Electrical Manager, the Equipment Maintenance Lead will be instrumental in maintaining all BCT assets and equipment. The generation and completion of equipment and machinery p.m.'s while maintaining a safe working atmosphere is a priority. The Equipment Maintenance Lead must be willing to be responsible for all the scheduling and performing of preventative maintenance on BCT equipment.This will include taking ownership of the maintenance tasks as assigned and taking initiative to keep all equipment operational. This position will occasionally work with the Maintenance team at the BCT Cast facility to coordinate any work between buildings including equipment and personnel.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.Direct, plan and coordinate operations for the maintenance department to minimize equipment downtime and maximize production.Ensure focus on safety when completing all tasks.Maintain a safe and clean work environment.Develop and maintain an effective machinery maintenance program, including preventative maintenance and critical component inventory. IE Tool cribAnalyze equipment or machine problems, quality problems and production delays, expediting repairs and / or corrective actions to minimize downtime and work schedule interruption.Utilize and manage outside vendors, consultants, and sub-contractors in conjunction with engineering and purchasing departments to supplement company resources when required.Work closely with production control and manufacturing departments to schedule maintenance and / or repairs at appropriate times.Maintain and schedule all necessary training of maintenance personnel.Develop and complete maintenance and routine tasks to ensure functional operation and reliability of BCT assets both moveable and fixed.Develop and maintain P.M. logs on fixed and moveable equipment.Operate standard maintenance tools such as power tools, hand tools, pneumatic tools, electric tools, etc.Helps drive and support BCT's Culture and Core ValuesQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.Excellent communication problem-solving skills.Thorough understanding of quality systems.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Sense of urgency and ability to achieve results.Education and/or ExperienceRequires high school or equivalent degree and three to five years of related experience or a combination of education and experience.Forklift certification or three to five years of forklift driving experience.Three to five years' experience performing routine maintenance on forklifts and overhead cranes as well as performing maintenance (and troubleshooting) on manufacturing machines & equipment.Proficient in writing or creating standard operating procedures (SOPs), preventative maintenance checklists,) and work instructions.For more information, or to apply now, you must go to the website below.
