We're growing across markets and looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team!Key Responsibilities
- Review project blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and overhead based on project scope.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather accurate information for estimates.
- Analyze historical data to develop unit costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare bid proposals and present estimates to clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and adjust estimates as necessary throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather additional information for accurate estimating.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Estimator in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of estimating software and methodologies.
- Familiarity with construction materials and processes, particularly concrete and steel.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
