We are looking for an experienced Facility Technician to join our client's team in Smithfield, NC. The Industrial Facility Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical plant and equipment of an industrial facility. The Industrial Facility Technician role involves a wide range of tasks, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs. The Industrial Facility Technician will work closely with other departments to ensure the facility operates efficiently and safely.Responsibilities:-Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on various types of industrial equipment, including machinery, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing.-Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.-Emergency Repairs: Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergencies in a timely manner.-Safety: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.-Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.-Project Work: Assist with facility improvement projects, such as renovations or expansions.-Equipment Installation: Install and configure new equipment as needed.Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMSkills:-Technical or vocational training in a relevant field (e.g., industrial maintenance, HVAC, electrical).-Experience working in an industrial setting.-Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.-Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.-Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.-Strong work ethic and attention to detail.-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Education:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:-Certification in a relevant field (e.g., HVAC, electrical).-Experience with specific types of industrial equipment (e.g., manufacturing machinery, process equipment).-Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).If you are looking for a great opportunity to utilize your experience as a facilities technician, this could be the role for you!
