Job Title: Industrial HVAC Technician Lead - Temp to hire Location: Freeport, ILMust be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Must have at least 2 years in a team lead or supervisory roleTypical work schedule is Monday - Friday; 7:30am to 4:00pm, but hoursmay vary based on business demand.Job Summary This position is responsible for providing an advanced level of expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing preventive and corrective maintenance on the facility mechanical, electrical and HVAC equipment and systems in a manufacturing environment. You will use your strong mechanical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot ventilation equipment, pumps, fans, chillers, rooftop AHU's, split systems, compressors, refrigeration, etc. in a highly regulated environment. Work safely with 3-phase power up to and including 480V. In addition to HVAC work this person will be the lead for the site. Interacting with management, customers, and subcontractors will be required. Client is looking for someone who is even tempered, well spoken, and highly organized.Minimum Requirements - High School diploma or demonstrated equivalent. - Six years of experience as an HVAC maintenance technician in an industrial grade environment or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience. - Solid understanding of large building HVAC systems and their mechanical/electrical controls. - EPA Universal certification. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Qualified applicants offered a position must be able to obtain site specific security access including all applicable background checks. - Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. - This position requires a valid Driver's License. - This position may require various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.Preferred Qualification's - Associate degree in HVAC, industrial mechanical, industrial electrical, or a related skilled trade. - Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing pumps. - Knowledge of building automation system software supporting HVAC, water, steam, and power distribution (such as Honeywell and Siemens).Indotronix is an Equal Opportunity Employer
