We are seeking a highly experienced Industrial Hygiene and Safety (IHS) Professional to join our team. This senior-level position plays a critical role in developing, recommending, and implementing programs, policies, and procedures to identify, measure, evaluate, and control potential health and safety hazards. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject-matter expert, providing strategic guidance and innovative solutions to address complex challenges in industrial hygiene and safety.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement health and safety programs to address workplace hazards.Provide daily IHS support to programmatic or facility organizations.Manage and administer institutional-level health and safety programs or services.Solve complex issues requiring creative and innovative solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve long-term safety goals.Serve as a recognized expert, influencing future concepts, products, and technologies.Use advanced principles and theories to develop techniques and standards.Operate independently with wide latitude in decision-making and determining methods for achieving results.QualificationsBachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or Industrial Hygiene.Minimum of 12 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Advanced knowledge of industrial hygiene principles, techniques, and standards.Proven ability to lead complex safety initiatives and solve unique challenges.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and networking abilities.Postgraduate coursework in a related field is desirable.
