We are currently recruiting for a Industrial Inspection Project Coordinator to be based in our Hartford, CT office.As a Project Coordinator, for STRUCTURAL, you will be responsible for supporting and coordinating construction project efforts that make our nation's structures stronger and last longer. Responsibilities/Qualifications for ideal candidates include:
- Providing support for field team as well as other areas of operations
- Experience in Nondestructive Tests(NDT)- Ultrasonic Thickness (UT) on metal and/or fiberglass, MT testing for welds.
- Understanding of masonry deterioration mechanisms in corrosive environments & structural analysis.
- Knowledge in reading blue prints and shop drawings
- AutoCad experience preferred.
- Ability to convey observations with office personnel and plant representatives
- Ability to perform inspections on a tight time frame/ sensitive schedule
- Must be comfortable with working at various heights (structures are typically 600' to 1000' in height
- Ability to lead a crew to perform inspections.
- Can articulate inspection findings in report formats
- Working knowledge of construction-related processes and industry practices
- Knowledge of branch resources to select the most appropriate resources for specific projects
- Excellent communication, documentation and organizational skills
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with scheduling software and PROCORE is preferred
- Ability to pass background check & regular drug screening, with valid driver's license required.
- Ability travel up to 50% of the time. (Nationwide travel)
- Required certifications: IRATA/ SPRAT, OSHA 10/30, MSHA, TWIC preferred.
