SUMMARY Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Electrician is responsible for maintaining, repairing all existing electrical equipment in production areas, running additional electrical service to areas, and troubleshooting PLC's while ensuring all company safety rules and policies are in compliance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES May include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Comply with company safety policies
- Maintain and repair all existing electrical equipment in production areas and troubleshooting PLC's by utilizing ladder diagrams and schematics
- Utilize troubleshooting techniques to analyze, detect, and determine the nature of a problem, and extent of repairs required
- Actively participate in the preventative maintenance program
- Perform Electrical preventative maintenance of electrical control panels and equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety standards
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies by utilizing lean and 5s principles
- Follow and enforce company safety policies and procedures always and operate wide variety of manufacturing tools
- Engage with company engineering on electrical upgrade and new equipment installation
- Capable of utilizing mobile equipment: pallet jack, forklift, scissor lift, boom lift
- Execute electrical related inspections and report accordingly
- Run conduit and electrically terminate wiring in industrial equipment, interpret input output modules, and operate a variety of tools and equipment in a safe manner
- Must place the upmost importance on working safely, and maintain a safe work environment for self and others, always
- Other duties as assigned

Associate degree in electrical technology, or two years related experience and/or certification and experience Massachusetts electrical license certification
1 - 2 years' experience in a relevant field Must be well organized, and able to complete, and perform work orders Basic knowledge of programable logic, hardware and software
Experienced to read interpret diagrams, schematics, and motor controls
Communicate in writing and orally with supervisors, leads, and other employees. Carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, and other employees of the organization. Ability to draft routine reports and correspondence.
Must be able to take direct responsibility of workmanship and possess high standard of competence. Use own personal hand tools are necessary specialty tools will be provided. Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and hardhat protection.)

The base pay range for this position is $35.86 to $40.21. This range is based on relevant market data in our lowest and highest geographic markets. Dependent on the position offered, sign on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package (also to include a full range of medical and other benefits).
