Job Summary:
Windsor Windows & Doors, a leading manufacturer of wood and vinyl windows and patio doors, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician at our West Des Moines location, to work within the production area maintaining equipment, troubleshooting, and working within a team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Electrical process equipment troubleshooting
* Perform daily, weekly, and monthly operator PMs on all production equipment per schedule
* PLC's, Drives, Relays, Motors
* Disassemble, repair, replace, rebuild and install mechanical equipment using diagrams, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications
* Perform inspections of production equipment and preventive maintenance duties
* Respond to requests to address and diagnose operation mechanical problems where equipment is not operating correctly
* Collaborate with management and other colleagues in decisions concerning maintenance problems regarding equipment
Requirements:
* Strong mechanical and troubleshooting aptitude
* Experience with industrial controls
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and attention to detail
* 3-5 years of mechanical experience
