Position Summary The Industrial Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the Company's mission,Essential FunctionsRoutine Facility and Equipment RepairsPreventive Maintenance tasks on facility/equipment as assignedRoutine equipment revisions, upgrades, fabricationTroubleshooting and correcting equipment failuresAssisting Molding Personnel in Troubleshooting Molding IssuesEmergency breakdown responseImplementation of new equipment/ processesMaintain safe and organized work habits and follow all safety guidelines Able to meet Beacon's expectations: Accountability, Integrity, Innovation, Service & TeamworkRequired Skills:Must be proficient with equipment knowledge and repairsAbility to prioritize and adjust workAttention to detail is crucialWork independently as a member of a team Forklift license (or ability to obtain license)Two year degree or equivalent job experience with maintenance in manufacturing settingPosition Type/Expected Hours of WorkFull Time, Non ExemptRequired Education and Experience: High school diploma or GEDTwo year degree or equivalent job experience with maintenance in manufacturing settingTraining in general safetyStrong Mechanical skills and ability to use various types of hand toolsPreferred Education and Experience:Previous plastic injection molding experienceExperience with overhead cranesStrong troubleshooting in Mechanical, Electrical, and PneumaticsPre-employment Conditions:Successful completion of a criminal background check, physical capabilities testing and a drug screen.Beacon Engineered Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer
