Industrial Maintenance TechnicianReporting to the Facilities Manager, the Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of industrial machinery and equipment. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:- Perform regular maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment, including preventative maintenance tasks.- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on production equipment.- Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and blueprints to perform required maintenance and service.- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and control systems.- Conduct equipment inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols.- Document all repairs, maintenance, and inspections in a detailed and timely manner.- Collaborate with production staff and other technicians to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance.Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance or related field preferred or experience in the trades.- 3+ years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar role. (preferred)- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.- Experience with PLCs, control systems, and automated machinery.- Proficient in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.- General computer (Microsoft) and Apple Ipad knowledge preferred- Knowledge in Enterprise Asset Management software is a plus - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if needed.Physical Requirements:- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.- Ability to stand, walk, and work in various positions for extended periods.- Must be able to work in environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and around heavy machinery.
