Location: Stoneville, NCType of position: full-timeSchedule: 2nd shift, Monday to Friday: 2pm to 10:30pm.Industrial Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift)GENERAL DESCRIPTION OR SUMMARY:The Maintenance Technician works with and supports production team to keep company wide equipment running. This individual ensures operation of machinery by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions and repairing or installing factory equipment and machinery.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provide first level troubleshooting support on controls and electronic issues when elevated from manufacturing floor.
- Check, maintain, repair and replace automation lines, high pressure steam, air/gas lines, electrical/electronic controls, piping and tubing.
- Read technical manuals to understand equipment and controls.
- Diagnose problems, determine extent of repairs and estimate labor time.
- Disassemble machinery/equipment, repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components.
- Setup, install and repair production, building equipment and specialty machines.
- Inspect equipment for proper lubrication and perform preventative maintenance duties.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Good analytical and excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box .
- Ability to read and diagnose Ladder Logic used in PLCs.
- Strong machine troubleshooting skills (electrical controls related process issues).
- Reading schematics and be able to understand electrical wiring diagrams.
- Experience in integrated motion in manufacturing equipment (VFDs, Servo Motors, Actuators).
- Ready to work on the 1st shift for 6-12 weeks while on initial training.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Min 2 year of experience in industrial maintenance or degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar field.
