Machine Operator - Denison, Texas A Machine Operator is tasked with setting up, maintaining, and operating machinery in a production or manufacturing facility. Their main goal is to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the production process, meet quotas and quality standards while adhering to all safety regulations. Key responsibilities of a Machine Operator include but are not limited to: Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to set up and operate machines accordingly. Adjusting machine settings for optimal production and checking machine performance to minimize malfunctions or avoid issues. Selecting and installing appropriate tools, attachments, and materials needed to complete production tasks. Monitoring and evaluating the performance of machines throughout the production process to ensure product quality and uniformity. Performing routine maintenance such as cleaning, lubricating, and repairing machinery to ensure optimal functionality. Troubleshooting and resolving minor issues with machinery or alerting appropriate personnel for major problems. Inspecting finished products to ensure they are within tolerances and meet required specifications, and documenting inspection results. Adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines while working with machinery and equipment to prevent accidents and minimize hazards. Collaborating with production team members to meet deadlines and achieve daily, weekly and monthly production goals. Continuously learning about new techniques and technologies to improve production efficiency, stay current, and enhance overall job performance. Requirements for the role may include a high school diploma or equivalent, previous experience working in a similar role or industry, teamwork skills, attention to detail, and the ability to use basic hand tools and measurement devices.
