Work directly for our Long Island client (Suffolk County) that is a leading manufacturer Summary - Industrial Mechanic/Millwright Experienced Industrial machinery mechanic to maintain and repair factory equipment and other industrial machinery. Job Duties: Alongside a very accomplished team you will perform mechanical repairs on a variety of production equipment including molders and various other wood working equipment, wrapping machines, shrink-wrap lines and other support equipment. We will expect you to consistently perform job specific tasks in a safe manner and to identify unsafe practices and/or environments and make recommendations to correct those practices or environments. You will be required to perform all documentation, calculations, and any other written types of communication necessary to complete the job. You will be required to perform preventive maintenance of a variety of machines on a regular basis. Job Requirements Requirements: You must possess excellent mechanical and analytical skills Experience in metal fabrication, welding - MIG, TIG and stick.
