Oertel Metalworks is currently seeking a reliable and safety-oriented 3rd Shift Industrial Paint/Prep Worker for our Davenport, Iowa location. Our Industrial Paint/Prep Worker is responsible for preparing parts by grinding, sanding, cleaning, coating, and masking parts as required. The Industrial Paint/Prep Worker will also help transport, stage, and pack parts as required by the schedule created by the 1st shift Paint Lead. Strong quality standards being met by following instructions and paying attention to detail is a consistent priority for the Industrial Paint/Prep Worker. What makes you successful in this position?

• The ability to consistently prioritize safety, organization, productivity, and cleanliness while completing tasks
• An understanding of hand tools and the ability to obtain a fork truck certification

• Enjoy working in a physical role. You'll be on your feet & moving throughout the shift, which could also include lifting 50 pounds occasionally.
• Team player mentality and the desire to be a part of a successful, hard-working team.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
