BASIC FUNTION:Omya a leading global industrial manufacturing company is seeking a highly motivated individual with a solid work ethic and willingness to provide creative ideas and solutions to meet continuous improvement objectives. The company has an immediate opening for a full-time industrial plant Operator.RESPONSIBILITIES:* Learn to operate a fully automated industrial facility* Ensure the manufacturing of quality products* Work safely as a valued team member* Assist with industrial equipment preventive maintenance and troubleshooting* Pressure wash, paint, organize, and clean the facility in a way that conforms to our 6S programQUALIFICATIONS:Post high school technical certificate/college level Associates Degree or higher. Experience in the manufacturing industry.High level of commitment to safety and willingness to learn.Flexible and able to work a rotating shift that includes some nights and weekends.
