CDM Smith has a new opening for an Industrial Project Manager to lead and manage multiple small to large consulting, investigation, remediation, design, and environmental design-build projects for multiple clients in Texas. This position is part of our Industrial Division, which serves Oil & Gas, Chemical, Food & Beverage, Metals & Mining, Utility, Manufacturing, Water Services and other commercial clients.

As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by:

* Managing multiple planning, consulting, design, and EPC projects related to industrial environmental investigation, remediation and restoration

Responsibilities will include:

* Performing technical problem solving

* Managing environmental policy, compliance and permitting

* Performing guidance and review at the project level while assuring discipline and quality standards are adhered to

* Leading proposal teams and developing project approaches that lead to project wins

* Applying experience and innovation to solve problems of high complexity in area of expertise

* Preparing and managing monitoring project budgets and schedules in conjunction with assisting in negotiation of contracts and amendments

* Identifying opportunities with existing and new clients, particularly by expanding service offerings

* Serving as the primary contact with the client for delivery of assignment

* Responsible for the day-to-day financial, resource, and client management for the successful project execution and delivery

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree

* PMP (PMI) CCM or DBIA or ability to receive within 12 months of start date

* 4 years of related experience

* Domestic and/or international travel may be required The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.

Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications

* Texas regulatory experience and knowledge, including prior experience interacting successfully with TCEQ, BLM and TRRC

* Professional (PE) License in Texas

* Bachelors Degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering

* Experience managing facilities infrastructure and/or environmental projects for industrial clients

* Previous successful experience managing project scope, schedule, and budgets

* Proven experience managing multi-discipline compliance and engineering teams

* Proven experience managing preparation of engineering design packages for construction

* Exemplary skills in communicating project findings to technical and nontechnical audience
