Job Description:

Seeking a Sales Professional with Industrial Supplies Experience for a Direct Hire Opportunity with our Client, a leading products and services distributor, in Bakersfield, CA.

This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, and 401k!

Salary: $100k+ per year (based on experience) plus lucrative incentive program.

In this role, you will develop and maintain strategic customer relationships, grow the assigned sales territory, and drive the success of MROP products and services for industrial customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic plans and accurate forecasts for accounts.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and proactively resolve unique customer issues.
  • Grow and maintain new and existing accounts within the assigned sales territory.
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends in Pumps and Rotating Equipment.
  • Identify new sales and service opportunities within the territory.
  • Solve problems related to Pumps and Rotating Equipment using the products we represent.
  • Understand and align with customer vision and supply chain initiatives to provide proactive solutions.
  • Establish and expand relationships with decision-makers within each customer organization.
  • Consistently exceed sales goals and objectives, and document success with new products and cost savings.
  • Provide monthly reports for each key account, highlighting any changes, service issues, competition challenges, and customer projects.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience selling industrial supplies such as Pumps and Rotating Equipment.
  • Customer-service-oriented mentality.
  • Computer literate, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience generating proposals and solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work productively with minimal supervision.
  • Proven track record of maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships with significant add-on/repeat business.
  • Acceptable driving record as per company guidelines.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
