We are seeking an Industrial Services Manager responsible for the procurement of industrial contracts and the implementation, monitoring, and controlling of all the department's industrial activities. This position will support the CDS program working with individuals with disabilities.
Responsibilities: Develops, analyzes, monitors, and provides corrective interventions for short - and long term marketing strategies for the department's industrial services Initiates contacts and develops positive relations with potential industrial contractors Serves as a public relations agent for St. Coletta's of Illinois and the Job Training Center to educate the surrounding community regarding the mission of the agency and the industrial capabilities of the department Completes, analyzes, documents and processes time and motion studies needed for price quotations for subcontract customers and in meeting the Department of Labor standards for paying the Training Center's consumers a fair wage Develops, implements, monitors, and controls productions schedules, monitors daily industrial operations and initiates corrective action to guarantee customer satisfaction Oversees the implementation of the Training Center's subcontract Quality Control Program and intervenes as necessary Trains, supervises, monitors and evaluates subordinate personnel Accumulates, organizes and analyzes information necessary to determine profitability of individual subcontracts Orders supplies and schedules maintenance for industrial equipment ensuring that daily operations are not disrupted Assists in developing, monitoring and controlling budgeted monies for the Training Center Develops and maintains open communication working with industrial customers, instills positive working relationships and promotes the industrial services for the department Works cooperatively with the department's Director and Program Supervisor to ensure the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the operations for the department
Qualifications:- Previous work experience, preferably in production or scheduling, supervision, industrial engineering, warehousing and/or quality control
- Bachelor's degree or five years' experience in a sheltered workshop or production orientation required
- Pass a criminal background check and physical/drug test
- Valid driver's license
