Job DescriptionIndustrial Networking Solutions (INS) is seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Wireless Network Engineer to design and implement industrial wireless networks for Cellular/CBRS, Wi-Fi, and backhaul applications. As an Industrial Wireless Network Engineer, you will ensure the successful delivery of wireless network projects from inception to implementation.
LocationINS HQ - Plano, TX office -
Must live in Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan area or be willing to relocate.
There is no relocation package for this position.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience designing and implementing wireless networks, with specific expertise in Cellular/CBRS, Wi-Fi, and backhaul applications.
- Strong knowledge of wireless network technologies and standards, including 4G LTE, 5G NR, CBRS, and Wi-Fi.
- CBRS Certified Professional Installer (CPI) - preferred.
- CCNA certification - preferred
- Experience with RF propagation modeling, spectrum analysis, and network performance optimization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues related to wireless networks.
- Proven technical writing skills on engineered solutions.
Responsibilities - Design, configure, and implement industrial wireless Cellular/CBRS, Wi-Fi, and backhaul projects.
- Conduct site surveys, create network designs and plans, and oversee the installation and configuration of wireless network components such as cellular modems, Wi-Fi APs, and Wi-Fi bridges.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to industrial wireless networks, including signal interference, network coverage, and bandwidth constraints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement industrial wireless network solutions that meet clients' business and operational needs.
- Stay up to date with industry developments and trends related to existing and emerging wireless technologies.
- Establish budgetary pricing for wireless network proposals.
Additional Responsibilities - Work duties will require frequent travel (up to approximately 50%) in the US.
- Must reside in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Be willing to work in person at INS Services offices in Plano, TX.
- Able to legally work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Able to pass criminal background check and drug testing.
