JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will serve as an Industry Delivery Lead focusing on Technology aligned accounts. You will act as a consultant to current and prospective accounts and be responsible for growing assigned account(s) through engagement of clients in new bookings and solutions. This position involves client relationship building, executive level communications/presentations, reviewing and monitoring quality of client deliverables, scoping, and estimating new engagements, and continued evaluation of business needs and results. This role will effectively manage personal utilization to meet client needs and achieve >$5M in new and retained revenue, focusing on expanding Apex's footprint wherever possible. The Industry Delivery Lead will use their strong understanding of Apex's business, operations, and organization systems to create innovative solutions, improve efficiencies, and deliver high quality results. You will serve as a subject matter expert and will stay attuned to industry trends to advocate for solution alignment, growth for the company while guiding engagement management teams and consultants in value-add activities to meet client demands.
* Ensure client satisfaction on industry aligned account(s) through high quality deliverables and strong customer and partner relationships
* Oversee project engagement and delivery on SOWs across industry
* Develop and maintain strong internal and external customer relationships
* Understand Apex's business, operations, and organizational systems and how your role supports overarching success (i.e. ROI, Gross Margin, client satisfaction, etc.)
* Ensure compliance with corporate policies & procedure
* Lead and develop industry members, Internal Practice Consultants (IPCs) and Contract Employees to improve, grow, and develop their skills and relevance in the market
* Participate in Apex foundations, committees and/or work groups and ambassador program
* Demonstrate expert-level technical knowledge, skills, and effective professional consulting skills.
* Participate in upsell pursuits through providing technical guidance, estimates, scoping, and other pre-sales activities
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in relevant fields.
* 10 + years experience in IT project implementation with at least 7 years in leading large delivery projects, end-to-end implementations.
* Established technical knowledge and experience in Technology industry preferred.
* Excellent communication (verbal/written) and organization skills, including presentation and material development
* Must possess strong knowledge and experience in large and complex implementations, along with business and consulting acumen
* Proven strong stakeholder management (all levels including C-level) with the ability to properly manage stakeholder expectations and escalations
* Analytical thinker, with problem solving and team influencing abilities.
* Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint advanced features
* Experience executing and managing deliverables of SOWs
* Experience with project/program portfolio management, tracking, and collaboration tools such as: Clarity, HP PPM, PlanView, SharePoint, MS Project, Jira, ADO, Mural, etc.
* Great customer relationship management focus
* Results-oriented with a high sense of urgency to meet client requirements in a fast-paced environment
