The Work:

The Project Scheduler is responsible for working closely with technical experts, project leads and project managers in planning, creating, and managing project schedules.

Job Requirements:

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

This position is based in San Juan, Puerto Rico and future relocation may be required.

* Consulting with project managers and technical experts to set up assignments, tasks, and subtasks

* Developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective scheduling management system

* Coordinating project timelines with internal departments and external stakeholders

* Monitoring project timelines and deadlines

* Identifying potential project schedule delays and facilitating intervention in a timeous manner

* Evaluating performance and preparing project progress reports

* Accommodating updates and changes to project schedules

* Recommending actions to keep project timelines and deadlines

* Documenting project scheduling processes and maintaining records

* Develop and provide project schedule related reports including schedule quality assessments, earned value, cashflow forecasts and risks

Qualification

Here's what you need:

* Bachelor's degree in business or Technical Field

* Minimum of 5 - 8 years related scheduling experience, or in lieu of bachelor's degree, a minimum of 9- 12 years relevant scheduling experience is required

* Minimum of 5 years of experience and proficiency in using PC software and mainframe computer applications such as Excel, Access, Power Point, MS Project, Asset suite 8, Primavera P6

Bonus points if:

* Ability to build a schedule from an estimate, Project Diagram, or verbal Scope of Work

* Strong analytical skills and evaluation techniques

* Extensive experience in schedule planning and management

* In-depth knowledge of the scope of projects within the industry

* Advanced ability to evaluate schedule quality, project progress and facilitate interventions

* Ability to keep stakeholders informed of project timelines and changes

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize a variety of independent assignments and meet deadlines

* Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management

* Demonstrated ability to effectively facilitate meetings, problem solve and drive to resolution

* Ability to schedule and facilitate project meetings with all stakeholders in office or field environment

* Ability to work flexible hours and in field construction sites

* Ability to handle conflict

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below. New York $67,600 to $168,600
