Job Summary:# This position is responsible for the effective direction, management and operation of infection activities and control/epidemiology for PRMC, including education of hospital personnel and consultation with all applicable organizations, to include CDC, and the county and state health departments. The responsibilities encompass compliance with CMS, OSHA, and state regulations, outbreak investigation, and overall direction of the infection prevention and control program. This position should also be knowledgeable of DNV standards to ensure#compliance with outside reporting source standards such as Leapfrog, Hospital Compare, etc.# Job Qualifications:##Requires a current Kansas LPN or RN license, or#certified medical technologist.##Must have a minimum of three#years clinical experience in a hospital setting or disease surveillance experience in a public health setting.# Association for Practitioners in Infection Control (APIC) training course or equivalent desired on employment.# # Benefits/Compensation:# Competitive wages and excellent fringe benefit program.# Salary commensurate with experience. #
